AWTN believes we are stronger and can accomplish more by partnering together as a community.  Many thanks to our partners and donors who have consistently demonstrated their leadership in comprehensive solutions and services for homelessness.

Prior to 2012, ATWN collaborated for client services solely with Aurora Mental Health’s PATH program.  By evaluating our client needs, we formed new collaborations providing a variety of services. All partnerships services are provided without fee to AWTN.

Private Office Space is provided at Elmira for partner agencies located on the lower level office suite at 1544 Elmira in accordance with HIPPA compliance.

  • Arapahoe House: referrals to provide an array of rehabilitation services for individuals and families with alcohol, drug and other behavioral health disorders.

  • ACOT: Homeless outreach and cold weather van transportation, staffed with medical and mental health professions.  AWTN supplies ACOT with resources, food, clothing, and meets on a monthly basis with the ACOT collaborating agencies.

  • Aurora@Home: A@H is designed to place homeless families into affordable housing  in an expedited manner thus, giving them a level of initial stability. AWTN provides family referrals and serves on the operations committee.

  • Aurora Mental Health Center: Vocational specialist provides free job coaching, job applications, and resume writing assistance provided onsite.

  • Aurora Mental Health PATH: Program to Assist in Transition out of Homelessness: outreach therapists provide free case management, such as linking the homeless to benefits which include food stamps, SSDI, and SSI, advocacy and support, housing referrals and application assistance, as well as mental health and substance abuse assessment, evaluation, crisis intervention, and assistance in transitioning out of homelessness through independence. 100 percent of AWTN clients are referred.

  • Bright by 3: Provides AWTN clients with children resources ages 0-36 months. Kit includes books for child, a parent handbook, and other developmentally appropriate materials for the age of children. Kits provided at AWTN cold weather shelter intake.

  • City of Aurora - Homelessness assistance Programs

  • Close to Home: Collaborative campaign aims to raise awareness and challenge people to take a stand. ... homelessness in Metro Denver are families and children.

  • Day Resource Center: 13397 E 19th Pl, Aurora, CO 80045

  • East Metro Detox & Recovery Service: (EMDR) provides monitored, safe and supportive withdrawl management services 24/7/365 days a year to adults who are intoxicated, under the influence, or in any stage of withdrawl from alcohol or other substance use. These services are provided in a social detox setting at 1290 South Potomac Street in Aurora, Colorado 80012.

  • Laundry on the Fax: provides free vouchers for laundry and detergent for clients

  • Mile High Behavioral Healthcare/Comitis: provides AWTN with a van for client transportation for cold weather shelter and accepts referrals for shelter intake.

  • Metro Community Providers Network: a free health care clinic for AWTN clients onsite.

  • Hunger Free Colorado: food stamp application and assistance onsite and referrals.

  • Tri County Health: Free Confidential HIV/AIDS/health testing and counseling onsite and referrals.
