Why give?
Winter is known as the “giving season” where charitable and philanthropic efforts increase and organizations like ours are able to provide for those in need. As we move into summer our client needs change and we change our donation asks to represent what those is our community most require. Whether you donate food, money, street food kits, or hygiene kits, we always need your help. The organizations on East Colfax have always been a collaborative and compassionate community. Lots of people talk about problems, but we’re all about being part of the solution. That is why we would like to partner with you.
You can help on an individual or group level. Both offer the rewards of helping others and having a personal sense of accomplishment. With generous support from the community, AWTN is ensuring families and individuals meet their most basic needs. By partnering with people like you, we are helping to break the cycle of homelessness. |
donationsDonations keep us afloat throughout the year. In 2020, the pandemic has hindered us in many ways but as the nation suffers from job and income loss, so has our ability to raise money. Every dollar helps.

Clothing donations
Aurora Warms the Night is always in need of quality clothing for the individuals we serve. We have specific items we are looking for given the confines of our office space and the most pressing needs of our clients. We are appreciative of the generosity of our donors and that is why we are very clear about items we take, any other donations can be taken to the Comitis Crisis Center one of our partner agencies. Below is a list of clothing we gladly accept.
winter coats
our most important item during the cold winter months by far, we accept all sizes. We prefer coats that have some water resitance like ski jackets and waterproof coats.
